Sultanate, Iran discuss relations

MUSCAT: Yusuf bin Alawi bin Abdallah, Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs, received in his office on Tuesday Dr Sadiq Hossein Jaberi Ansari, Deputy Foreign Minister for Arab-African Affairs,  Iran. The two ministers discussed bilateral cooperation and, regional and international issues of common concern. The meeting was attended by Dr Mohammed bin Awadh al Hassan, Acting Under-Secretary of the Foreign Ministry for Diplomatic Affairs, the Iranian delegation and officials at the foreign ministry. The fifth official session of strategic consultation between the Sultanate and Iran was held at the General Diwan of the Foreign Ministry on Tuesday. The Omani side was led by Dr Mohammed bin Awadh al Hassan, Acting Under-Secretary of the Foreign Ministry for Diplomatic Affairs and the Iranian side by Dr Sadiq Hossein Jaberi Ansari, Deputy Foreign Minister. — ONA
