Royal Navy of Oman marks Armed Forces, Retirees Day

[gallery link='file' ids='333526,333524,333527'] MUSANNAH: The Royal Navy of Oman on Wednesday marked the Armed Forces Day and Retirees Day under the auspices of Shaikh Mohammed bin Said al Kalbani, Minister of Social Development. The chief guest inspected the front row of the protocol guard parade and presented Long and Excellent Service medals to a number of outstanding RNO affiliates. Then the protocol guard staged military march in front of the dais accompanied by music and arms movements and military music. The minister of social development delivered a speech in which he praised the attention and support accorded by His Majesty Sultan Qaboos to the Royal Navy of Oman which resulted in a high level of modernisation and development and readiness to fully undertake its national role.
