Rain likely along Dhofar coast

By Lakshmi Kothaneth — MUSCAT: Dec 18: The coastal areas of Dhofar Governorate is likely to get some rain, according to the Oman Met Office. “There is a chance of low and medium clouds along the coast of Dhofar. Maybe there could be a bit of rain,” said the weather forecaster at the Met office. As per the Oman Marine forecast, there is a chance of cloud advection along the Arabian Sea coast. Clear to partly cloudy skies are expected along the coastal areas of Oman Sea and Musandam Governorate, and high cloud advection over most of the governorates across the Sultanate. Late-night to early morning low-level clouds and fog patches over governorates of Al Buraimi, Al Dahirah, South Al Sharqiyah and Al Wusta are likely. Fog patches can cause low visibility, the weather experts have warned.
