PACT TO FUND SCHOLARSHIPS

MUSCAT: The Ministry of Higher Education and Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) signed at the Ministry of Higher Education premises on Thursday a cooperation agreement in the field of internal scholarships to fund 141 scholarships for undergraduates in the Sultanate for the academic year (2016-2017) in engineering, administrative and commercial and information systems disciplines, at a cost of RO 3,060,900. Dr Abdullah bin Mohammed al Sarmi, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Higher Education, and Abdul Amir bin Abdul Hussain al Ajmi, External Affairs and Value Creation Director signed the agreement. — ONA
