Sultanate, Palestine strengthen bilateral ties and cooperation

MUSCAT: Yusuf bin Alawi bin Abdallah, Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs, received in his office on Sunday Dr Ahmed Majdalani, Member of the Palestine Liberation Organisation (PLO) Executive Committee. The meeting discussed aspects of the existing cooperation between the two sides and means of enhancing and promoting them to serve the joint interests of the Omani and Palestinian brotherly peoples. Minister of Civil Service Shaikh Khalid bin Omar al Marhoon also received in his office Dr Majdalani Shaikh Al Marhoon affirmed the bilateral relations binding the two brotherly countries and the existing joint cooperation between the two countries in various areas. On his turn, the Palestinian guest stressed the importance of such visit in enhancing avenues of cooperation between the two brotherly countries in various fields. The meeting was attended by Dr Hammad bin Hamad al Ghafri, Adviser in the Ministry of Civil Service, and Dr Ahmed Abas Ramadhan, Ambassador of the State of Palestine to the Sultanate. — ONA
