Campaign to combat rodents

MUSCAT: The Regional Municipalities carried out a campaign to combat rodents in South Al Sharqiyah. The Ministry of Regional Municipalities and Water Resources represented by the Directorate-General of Regional Municipalities and Water Resources in South Al Sharqiyah has implemented a ‘campaign to combat rodents’ in Sur, Jaalan Bani Bu Ali and Masirah in order to control and limit the reproduction and spread of rodents. About 59 villages were covered by the campaign with 33 villages in Sur, 20 villages in Jaalan Bani Bu Ali and 6 in Masirah. The campaign has achieved advanced results in collaboration with a number of government and private bodies and the various segments of the society.
