Omani mountaineer Sulaiman bin Hamoud al Naebi climbed 7,000-metre Aconcagua in Argentina, the highest mountain outside Asia, and hoisted the Sultanate flag and the picture of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos. Al Naebi said that his started climbing the mountain on December 7 and reached the summit on December 19. He said that this is a personal initiative, which came to his mind after representing Oman in climbing the fourth highest mountain Kilimanjaro in Tanzania.
