Snake grounds Emirates flight in Muscat

Photo for illustration purpose only By A Staff Reporter Muscat - An Emirates flight which arrived from Dubai at 9.45am on Sunday was held up at Muscat after baggage handlers discovered a snake in the cargo hold. The snake was found on arrival in Oman, the airline said, adding that the aircraft was returned to service after being thoroughly searched. While an airport official initially told the Observer that the snake was found and the flight will be delayed, but it was later officially denied through a telephonic interaction. Flight's landing in Muscat was normal.
