HM condolences to Iranian President

MUSCAT: His Majesty Sultan Qaboos has sent a cable of condolences to President Dr Hassan Rouhani of the Islamic Republic of Iran on the death of Ayatollah Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani, former Iranian president and Chairman of the country’s Expediency Council. In his cable, His Majesty expressed his sincere condolences and sympathy to President Rouhani, the friendly Iranian People and the bereaved’s family, praying to Allah the Almighty to rest the deceased’s soul in peace and grant his family patience.
