GCC Secy-Gen on NDC visit stresses on youth

Dr Abdullatif bin Rashid al Zayani, Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) on Wednesday visited the National Defence College (NDC). Speaking at a lecture held during the visit, the GCC secretary-general emphasised the need to give more attention to the youths being the future of the GCC nations. He touched on the terror threat and the role of the GCC in draining the sources of terrorism. Al Zayani also talked about the prospects of the GCC bloc and the role of strategic dialogue it holds with the aim of fostering relations among the member states. The GCC secretary-general also answered questions raised by the attendees and the participants of the fourth batch at NDC.
