Dr Ahmed Mohsin al Ghassani, Dean of CBFS in his welcome speech said, “Dear Graduands, it is a moment of pride for me to join you in this occasion. Today we are not only celebrating the graduation of 41 MBA students but we are celebrating 41 success stories. Every one of you will contribute to our Success Stories Bank. I take this opportunity to congratulate you — the graduates and your families. Congratulations! Please give them a round of applause. Your success is not a coincidence but is a result of commitment, hard work and sacrifice. I remember during the induction programme, Dr Ron Bradfield told you that there are a few things you need to do more and other things you need to do less. The few things he advised you to do more were studying and studying and studying. While the few things you were asked to do less were social activities. I am sure that all of you would agree with me today that this programme demanded a lot of study and stopped you from attending several social activities. Now it is time to celebrate…  for a short period then start planning for a better future. Success of your future plans requires working smarter not harder, becoming more independent thinkers and doing things differently through innovative approaches”.
