Platform to hone job skills

Salim al Shukaili - Muscat, Jan. 30 - An open learning platform was launched on Sunday to enhance the skills of Omani youth as demanded by the labour market. Titled ‘Edlal’, it was launched by Omantel at an event held at its headquarters. Talal bin Said al Mamari, Omantel CEO, was present. The platform seeks to share experiences, knowledge and skills through experts and professionals from Oman. It targets knowledge-seekers, entrepreneurs, students, employees and job-seekers. Edlal will focus on entrepreneurship, programming and technical photography and video production, digital design, engineering, science and the media, and leadership skills, art and culture.
