History of Ships in Oman

Staff Reporter - MUSCAT, Jan 31  - The Cultural Club is organising a night on History of Ships in Oman as part of the Muscat Festival 2017. Several experts are taking part in this festival where Omani sailors will showcase a group of ships and models, and navigational tools. Books about ships and navigation in Oman are being displayed. Hamoud bin Hamad al Ghailani of the Ministry of Heritage and Culture will give a lecture. Captain Saleh bin Said al Jabri will present a documentary about Jawharat Muscat Ship, highlighting its voyage and history. Discussions will be held for the audience around the history of ships in Oman and exhibition will be open till February 2.
