New decision on part-time employment of Omanis

Observer Online The Minister of Manpower on Tuesday issued a decision regulating the part-time work based on the suggestions that were put forward by the Labour labs of Tanfeedh in 2016. The Labs had suggested that to meet the demand for and supply of labour in Oman, flexible part-time and temporary employment policies are a necessity. The statement said that Omanis to be employed part-time for not less than four hours daily and not more than 25 hours a week.
