Fishing nets stuck in coral reefs removed

Muscat: The Environment Authority (EA) in cooperation with the Blue Water divers team removed fishing nets and ropes stuck in the coral reefs in the Daymaniyat Islands Nature Reserve. The EA called for fishing away from the islands to avoid the problem of fishing nets moving towards coral reef areas and getting stuck there in marine currents.
