Board of Oman Olympic Committee holds first meeting

MUSCAT: The Board of Directors of Oman Olympic Committee (OOC) will hold its first meeting this morning at the Building of OOC and Sports Associations under the chairmanship of Shaikh Khalid bin Mohammed al Zubair, OOC Chairman. To be attended by the board members, the meeting will tackle a number of agenda items which include review of the record of meeting of the Elective General Assembly held on 31 January 2017 and formation of the Executive Office and definition and approval of its terms of reference as well as a report on Supporting Committees. The meeting will also discuss a memorandum raised with regard to participation in the 4th Islamic Solidarity Games which will be held in Baku, Azerbaijan during the period from 12–22 May 2017 and review the external dividends 2017.
