MEC Winter School 2017 concludes

MUSCAT: Middle East College (MEC) hosted 19 students from Hanyang University, South Korea as part of the 4th MEC Winter School 2017, from January 17 to February 9, 2017. The 26 day programme included workshops at MEC and sightseeing trips to popular tourist destinations in the Sultanate. The workshops presented by MEC staff and students included topics such as Arabic language, Islamic and Omani culture and Omani arts and handicrafts. The South Korean students also conducted workshops related to Korean culture and language and also organised an open day which aimed to show different aspects of Korean culture such as Korean food, handicrafts, sports and traditional dances.
