Public Prosecution to educate people

MUSCAT:  The Public Prosecution recently published its quarterly socio-legal magazine ‘Al Mujtama Walqanoon’—‘Community and Law’ in English— that aims at enhancing public knowledge of legal matters. The editor-in-chief, Assistant Attorney General, Nasser Abdulla al Riyami revealed in the editorial that the magazine has achieved a new milestone by extending its range of audience to include the English speaking community in Oman. The current issue includes an outstanding interview with Sayyid Dr Said bin Hilal al Busaidi who is considered to be the founding father of the modern criminal judicial system in Oman. At the launching ceremony, the magazine editing team extended its appreciation to its readers for their continuous communication and interaction with the editorial team through “your legal counsel” section.
