MUSCAT: In recognition of its world-class operations, OCTAL recently received the ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation in recognition of its in-house laboratory’s world-class management, quality, administrative and technical operations following a rigorous audit undertaken by the International Accreditation Service (IAS). The certificate ensures the results of OCTAL’s tests are accepted in overseas markets, comply with international standards, and completely satisfy the needs of its growing customer base. Reflecting the high standards of OCTAL’s research facilities, the ISO/IEC 17025 is considered the single most important standard for calibration and testing laboratories around the world. It features laboratories that demonstrate high levels of technical competence, effective workflow, in addition to precise procedures related to sampling, testing and data evaluation. Klaus Haarmann, Director of Product Performance and Process Development at OCTAL, said, “From the outset, innovation has been at the forefront of OCTAL’s success and development, ensuring every product achieves the eco-friendly and superior quality we strive for. Receiving the ISO/IEC 17025 certification is a major step forward that ensures our lab results remain consistent, accurate and recognised all over the world. This accreditation will enable us to continue elevating our performance and exceed our customer expectations.”
