Expatriate arrested for selling unlicensed drugs

MUSCAT: The Public Authority for Consumer Protection (PACP) said that a trial court has sentenced an expatriate worker in the pharmaceutical sector to six month-jail and a fine of RO 1,000. He will be deport-ed at the end of his sentence. The accused was found to be selling medicines that were not registered with the Ministry of Health.
