Oman bowling team wins second gold

DOHA: Oman national women’s bowling team won a second gold medal in the doubles in the bowling championship at the fifth GCC Women Sports in the Qatari capital of Doha. The Sultanate’s medals tally went up to 29 medals, including seven gold, 8 silver and 14 bronze. Shukaila al Aiseryah and Aisha al Sayabiyah won the new gold medal after scoring 2107 pins followed by Bahrain team with 2059 pins and the UAE team in the third place with 2021 pins. — ONA
