UNOV office of GCC Permanent Mission opens

VIENNA: The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Permanent Mission Office to the United Nations Office in Vienna (UNOV) was inaugurated to coincide with the 60th anniversary of the Commission on Narcotic Drugs (CND) currently being held in Vienna. The opening ceremony included a special event on ‘combatting terrorism and drying its origins’ with the aim of highlighting the international efforts made to combat terrorism, eliminate its funding through drugs, money laundry, organised crime and corruption.
