Efforts to boost education levels hailed

MUSCAT: Dr Madeeha bint Ahmed al Shaibaniyah, Minister of Education, met with a number of school principals and teachers from different directorates of education in various governorates and the directorate of education of Al Wusta Governorate in the presence of advisors and director-generals. The minister of education welcomed the attendees thanking them for the efforts they are exerting to improve the educational process and upgrade the students’ skills and educational standard. She added that international studies and the reports prepared by the ministry have shown an improvement in the students’ standard as a result of sincere efforts being made by the teaching and administrative staffs. Al Shaibaniyah said the meeting is aimed at listening to opinions and point of views from the teachers and administrators regarding improving the educational aspects and identifying the most prominent challenges facing the ministry’s affiliates. It also aimed at acquainting them with the developments that are taking place in the educational field.
