Book on enhancing diversification programme ‘Tanfeedh’ launched

MUSCAT: The Implementation and Follow-up Support Unit continues its efforts to follow up the National Programme for Enhancing Economic Diversification “Tanfeedh” through the projects and initiatives it came with. It also reviews the challenges facing the steering committees, which follow closely the progress of the projects. As one of the eight-step programme, the fourth step was completed by launching a book on the National Programme for Enhancing Economic Diversification. The launch of the book marks a new stage for implementing the “Labs” projects and initiatives that aim at ensuring economic diversification at the 9th Five-Year Plan (2016-2020). Since the launch of the plan and throughout its eight steps, the book is an integrated work plan and a valuable addition to achieving the prospective economic diversification. The book includes the strategic trends and approaches of the National Programme for Enhancing Economic Diversification. The book, which will be a reference point about the outputs of the programme, includes details that highlight the importance of activating the approved initiatives and programmes through intensifying the efforts of all relevant stakeholders, such as regulatory bodies, employers and investors.
