Al Shabab take U-15 League title

MUSCAT: Al Shabab emerged the National U-15 League champions after they beat Al Oruba on penalties at the Seeb Sports Stadium last Friday. The match ended level despite both teams getting one each on the score-sheet. Al Shabab won 4-2 in the penalty shoot-out after missing only their last kick. Al Oruba missed the fourth and fifth penalty kicks. The match was held under the auspices of Dr Jassim al Shukaili, first Vice-President of the OFA. After the game, the presentation ceremony was conducted with Al Shabab winning the champions trophy, while Al Oruba and Seeb club were awarded the second and third place medals respectively.
