Adventurers reach Arabian Sea by foot

French adventurer Gauthier Toulemonde and Omani adventurer Ahmed al Mahrouqi reached Arabian Sea by foot from Ras aar Ruwais on Wednesday after completing four weeks in Rub al Khali, the Empty Quarter. Toulemonde was inspired by the writings of Wilfred Thesiger to undertake the journey.
