Taqah festival begins

The fifth edition of annual Taqha festival began in Taqah, 100km away from Salalah in Dhofar on Thursday. The festival, which will continue till April 16, was inaugurated by Sayyid Mohammed bin Sultan bin Hamoud al Busaidy, Minister of State and Governor of Dhofar. The festival will feature many cultural, sports, entertainment and religious events, and handicrafts exhibition.
