Workshop on food safety held

MUSCAT: As part of Food Safety week 2017 organised by the Ministry of Regional Municipalities and Water Resources, a workshop on dry food safety was held at Hormuz Grand Hotel. The workshop highlighted two main issues including risks of microbial toxins and pesticides in food and risks evaluation of parasites and bacteria in food. It discussed legislations and modern techniques of dry food storage.
