3 construction workers die in Mabela

Observer Online Muscat – The Public Authority for Civil Defence and Ambulances (PACDA) has reported that three workers were killed, when four of them fell from the top of a under-construction building in Mabela . The condition of the fourth person was said to be critical. Investigations are underway and the further comments are still awaited. Reacting to the incident, people have called for more fixing the accountability with the contractor for not following safety procedures and stricter monitoring mechanisms from the police, municipality and the ministry of manpower.
