The traditional horse games festival was held at the field of Al Asayil Club in Jaalan Bani Bu Ali in South Al Sharqiyah Governorate under the auspices of Sultan bin Salim bin Said al Habsi, Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for Planning. More than 100 horses from all over the Sultanate took part in the event which aims at simulating tourism and preserving the Omani traditions and passing them down to new generations.
