Military Sports teams honoured

MUSCAT: Based on the directives of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, the armed forces honoured the military football team, which won the 2nd World Military Football Cup Championship 2017, the national and the military shooting teams which represented the Sultanate in international competitions. The ceremony was presided over by Nasr bin Hamoud bin Ahmed al Kindi, Secretary-General of the Royal Court Affairs, in the presence of Lt Gen Ahmed bin Harith al Nabhani, Chief of Staff of the Sultan’s Armed Forces. A video on the achievements of the teams were also shown. Al Kindi honoured team members and technical staff and praised their achievements. Lt Gen Al Nabhani thanked His Majesty the Sultan for honouring the teams, which he said will motivate them to achieve more in the future. — ONA
