ITA, Oracle hold public platform of engineered systems workshop

MUSCAT: The Information Technology Authority (ITA) in cooperation with Oracle conducted at Crown Plaza on Monday a specialised training workshop titled ‘Public Platform of Engineered Systems’. The workshop targeted all infrastructure leaders, application developers and information Security Officers at government entities. The workshop was attended by more than 150 participants from 100 government entities. Omar bin Salim al Shanfari, ITA’s Deputy CEO for Operations, stated: “ITA is committed to partner with a number of pioneering and specialised companies in Information Communications Technologies (ICT) to provide specialised training for IT government professionals to enhance their skills in handling IT infrastructure, software/applications and information security projects.” — ONA
