Gas explosion damages cars

MUSCAT: The cooking gas cylinder explosion from a staff accommodation behind the central vegetable market in Mawaleh led to a major fire. Several cars were charred in the incident that reported no casualties. Firemen from the Public Authority for Civil Defence and Ambulances (PACDA) rushed to the site after receiving the information in the wee hours of Thursday and brought the fire under control.
