Four arrested for cigarette smuggling

MUSCAT: The Directorate for Combating Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances at North Al Batinah Police Command arrested four people on charges of smuggling drugs and banned cigarettes in the Wilayat of Shinas. Police seized an amount of heroin and 1,915 packs of banned cigarettes. When interrogated by the police the defendants admitted to all the charges against them.
