Royal Navy of Oman vessel Shabab Oman II leaves Jeddah

JEDDAH: The Royal Navy of Oman vessel Shabab Oman II left Jeddah Port in Saudi Arabia on Sunday after stopping for refuelling and supplies. It is scheduled to arrive at Suez Port in Egypt on Thursday, May 18, as part of its third international voyage “Peace and Friendship Sail” to the European continent. During its six-month voyage, the vessel will visit several sisterly and friendly countries. It will take part in long sailboat races and several festivals and celebrations. The Shabab Oman II seeks to convey its mission of extending ties of friendship and brotherhood between the Sultanate and various countries of the world by introducing the Omani culture at its various international stations. — ONA
