Two killed, including child, in Muscat house fire

Observer Online Muscat - Two people were killed, which including a ten-year-old child and a maid of Asian nationality, when their house caught fire in the South Mabela area of Muscat. Four people were safely rescued and are in good health, said the Public Authority for Civil Defence and Ambulances (PACDA). The incident happed around 3.25am on Monday. The cause for this incident is still not known. According to Khalid al Salti of PACDA, as per the preliminary investigations the fire started from the ground floor of a two-floor building, probably due to some faulty home devices. The two victims were probably trying to escape from the first floor and died of suffocation.
