Missing expatriate found dead

By Staff Reporter — MUSCAT: May 23 - An Indian who had gone missing for the past 13 days has been found dead, according to the authorities. He has been identified as Sahadevan Suresh, an employee of a private company in Al Ghobra. The body has been kept at the Police Hospital morgue. The body was identified by Shankarappilla Kumbalath, Suresh’s acquaintance and a social worker. Suresh, who was apparently unwell, had gone missing since May 4. He was sent to a hospital for treatment, according to sources in the company. Suresh is a native of Thekkevila village in Kollam district in the south Indian state of Kerala. Necessary procedures are underway to repatriate the body, the Royal Oman Police (ROP) has said.
