Fire erupts at Jaalan Bani Bu Ali mall, none injured

MUSCAT: A major fire erupted in a shopping centres in Jaalan Bani Bu Ali in South Al Sharqiyah Governorate on Saturday. No casualties were reported as the civil defence and ambulance teams rushed to the site soon after receiving a report and managed to put out the flames before spreading all over the two-storey building, but the fire caused huge financial losses. The Public Authority for Civil Defence and Ambulance (PACDA) urges the owners of shopping centres and commercial stores to comply with fire safety standards to avoid loss of lives and properties. — ONA
