Deadline for medical tests for Hajj pilgrims extended

The Ministry of Health in Oman said that in cooperation with the Ministry of Awqaf and Religious Affairs it has extended the deadline to complete the process of medical examination for Hajj pilgrims from Oman till Thursday, June 1, 2017. The ministry started receiving pilgrims for medical tests since May 8. To date, the medical examinations and vaccinations of 12,724 pilgrims have been completed and the results of which were electronically sent to the Hajj system at the Ministry of Awqaf and Religious Affairs. It was said that 262 more pilgrims are yet to complete their examinations. Pilgrims also expressed happiness after providing service to send alerts and test results by SMS. The number of pilgrims who chose the health institutions to conduct medical examinations is about 12,987.
