Custard powder brand removed from shelves in Buraimi

Food inspectors at Buraimi municipality have removed around 174 packets of Maculex custard powder (April 2016 -April 2018) production and valid till dates. The reasons given for the withdrawal from the market are foul smell emanating from the cans. Healthy safety checks have been intensified by the civic authorities across Oman during Ramadhan.
