Talk on Islamic banks’ role

MUSCAT: The Cultural Club will today hold a dialogue on “Islamic Banks and Their Role in the Omani Society,” with the participation of researchers and specialists. The session will be moderated by Dr Amer bin Sultan al Hajri, lecturer in economics and management at the Arab Open University in Muscat. Dr Abdullah bin Mubarak al Abri, lawyer registered with the Ministry of Justice will take part in the session. The session comes within the framework of the specialized activities organized by the Cultural Club in line with the spirit of current times, regional and international changes in all fields. The title of this session was chosen due to the importance of Islamic banks in the societies and the success of applying their mechanisms according to Islamic Sharia.— ONA
