SQU, Finland University to promote ties

MUSCAT:  To strengthen academic cooperation and further cultural understanding between Oman and Finland, Sultan Qaboos University and Finland University  signed a letter of understanding (LoU) at SQU on Wednesday.  The objective of the LoU is to facilitate the exchange of students, researchers, staff members as well as research and publishing collaboration and joint development projects. The collaboration between SQU and Finland University Inc. is primarily in learning, education and teacher education, health and biosciences, entrepreneurship and innovation. The LoU will remain in force for five years. It was signed by Dr Ali bin Saud Al Bimani, Vice-Chancellor of SQU and Pekka T Saavalainen, Chief Executive Officer of Finland University.
