Doctors face exam

MUSCAT: Oman Medical Specialty Board (OMSB) organised an examination for 201 doctors from the Sultanate and other countries for the membership of the Royal College of Emergency Medicine (RCEM) in UK (Part 1) at German University College of Technology premises on Wednesday, The examination, organised in cooperation between OMSB and RCEM in UK, targets trauma care and emergency specialists from inside and outside the Sultanate. The Royal College examinations, which are divided into three parts, are held four times a year. OMSB provides the necessary resources, under the supervision of the General Medical Council, to conduct the examination. OMSB, an internationally recognised centre for this examination, is the only internationally approved centre on the level of Gulf and Middle East region.
