Part of Taqa-Mirbat road opened

SALALAH: The Ministry of Transport and Communications opened a 10-km stretch of the Taqa-Mirbat dual carriage road in Dhofar Governorate on Wednesday. The road starts from the Madinat Al Haq roundabout in the Wilayat of Taqa to the gateway of Mirbat city with a distance of 35.5 km. It has two 7.5 wide lanes on each direction separated by a 1-metre wide traffic island. Designed to provide maximum safety to its users in accordance with the best standards, the road will have 3 overpasses and 3 tunnels. — ONA
