Syria’s deputy PM Walid al-Moalem dies

Muscat: Syria’s Foreign Minister Walid al-Moalem died on Monday due to illness, the reports said. Oman New Agency also announced the death of the Syrian deputy prime minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Walid al-Moalem, at the age of 79. In a statement, The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Oman expressed its sincere condolences to the people of the Syrian Arab Republic on the death of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates.
