Civil Service Ministry reviews on-job training programme

MUSCAT: The Directorate-General of Human Resources Development at the Ministry of Civil Service represented by the Training Relations Department organised at the ministry’s HQs’ a seminar on the aims of the implementing ‘the on job training’ programme for employees at the governmental units and private companies. Abdul Aziz al Ansari, Assistant Director-General at the Directorate-General for Human Resources Development at the Ministry of Civil Service delivered a speech on the importance of on job training and its benefits. Hilal bin Humaid al Hosani, Assistant Director of the Training Relations Department, made a presentation on the aims of the on job training — enhancing the skills and performance of employees. The presentation covered a number of themes, such as methods to help trainees acquire the problem-solving skills, good governance, enhancing relations, sharing experiences and knowledge and channelling efforts and energies to achieve strategic visions and strategic aims. — ONA
