Information minister visits media city

Dr Abdulmunim bin Mansour al Hassani, Minister of Information, on Thursday visited the Egyptian Media Production City and toured the shooting locations, main control room in the City, the central voice studio and transmission studios. The minister was received during the visit by a number of leaders and executives at the Media City. He also visited CBC TV network and made an interview with Extra News channel during which he said that the Sultanate’s media policy is consistent with its foreign policy. The Minister of Information was accompanied during the visit by Ali bin Khalfan al Jabri, Under-Secretary, Ministry of Information, Dr Ali bin Ahmed al Issaei, Sultanate’s Ambassador to Egypt and its Permanent Delegate to the Arab League, Hood bin Saif al Alawi, Media Attaché at the Omani Embassy in Cairo and members of the accompanying delegation taking part at the 48th session of the Arab Ministers of Information Council. — ONA
