Heavy rain lashes parts of Sultanate

MUSCAT: Moderate to heavy rains lashed the wilayats of Al Rustaq, Al Hamra and Al Amerat and the Niyabat of Jabal Al Akdhar causing some wadis to overflow and reducing temperatures. Heavy rains were reported in the wilayats of Samayil, Al Suwaiq and Al Awabi. Oman Met Office expects cloudy conditions with chances of scattered rains and occasionally thunder showers over Al Hajar mountains and adjacent areas.
