SQU gears up for new academic year

MUSCAT: The Sultan Qaboos University (SQU) is readying to receive its 32nd batch of students in the academic year 2017-2018 due to start on September 10. Dr Hussain bin Ali al Kharousi, Dean of Admission and Registration, said the university will receive 3,000 students through the Admission Centre. They will be enrolled in more than 60 disciplines. This number is expected to increase after the admission of students from the GCC countries and sisterly countries.
