Royal pardon for 212 prisoners

MUSCAT: His Majesty Sultan Qaboos, the Supreme Commander, has issued a Royal pardon to a number of prisoners convicted of various cases on the occasion of the July 23 Blessed Renaissance Day. An official with the Royal Oman Police (ROP) said the pardon included 212 prisoners, 67 of whom are foreigners. The Royal pardon comes in consideration of the prisoners’ families. — ONA
